Ahead of the release of Aay, the buzz for the film was quite low but after its release strong word of mouth and positive reviews came into play and started driving the buzz to the ticket counters. As a result, Narne Nithin took the lead on Ravi Teja and Ram Pothineni. For the unversed, Narne Nithin’s Aay is backed by Geetha Arts and this film is currently showing a very good momentum at the box office. The family comedy-drama film starring Narne Nithin and Nayan Sarika in the lead roles was released in theaters on August 15, 2024. Besides Narne Nithin and Nayan Sarika, this film also stars Kasireddy Rajkumar, Vinod Kumar, Ankith Koyya, Mime Gopi, and more in key roles. Aay (Telugu) is directed by Anji K Maniputhra and bankrolled by Bunny Vasa and Viya Koppineedi. Ram Miriyala directed the music of the film and Sameer Kalyani has done its cinematography. On its opening day, Aay did a business of Rs 0.52 Crore at the box office. On Day 2, the film’s positive reviews and strong word of mouth came into play and helped the film to start its upward trend, registering 17.31 percent growth. Its Day 2 box office collection was Rs 0.61 Crore. On Day 3, Aay collected its highest single-day box office collection, Rs 0.93 Crore showing a growth of 53.46 percent. The fourth day’s box office collection reports have not come out yet. Its India net collection was Rs 2.06 Crore after Day 3.
